Gerstein spent 11 years as a speechwriter and communications strategist on Capitol Hill and for two presidential campaigns before becoming a political consultant and commentator based in NewYork City. Since then, Gerstein has made his mark in the national media as a contributing columnist for the Wall Street Journal and Politico and as a regular analyst on Fox News, CNN, and MSNBC. Most recently, Gerstein, 44, wrote a weekly political column for Forbes.com.

Gerstein began his career in politics as a legislative aide to Senator Joe Lieberman of Connecticut, specializing in education, telecommunication, and cultural issues. During his time in the Senate, Gerstein collaborated with Lieberman on hundreds of speeches and statements, from major policy addresses before world leaders to Lieberman’s winning monologue for the 1999 Funniest Celebrity in Washington contest. Most notably, Gerstein worked closely with Lieberman on his headlinemaking speech from the Senate floor on the Clinton-Lewinsky scandal in 1998.

Gerstein also served as a senior strategist and aide on Lieberman’s two national campaigns. In 2003, Gerstein was deputy communications director for Lieberman’s presidential campaign, where he coordinated the strategic planning process, directed the policy and speechwriting operations, and wrote and edited the campaign’s 80-page policy blueprint.

A native Californian, she stumbled into ghostwriting 30 years ago. Her then employer asked her if she could take over from an existing ghostwriter. That ghostwriter simply didn’t understand the author. That book was a best seller, and Anne has been ghosting ever since. Her specialty is the self-help genre. She has ghosted dozens of books in that category. Most recently she completed an allegorical tale for a client that’s now published by a major publishing house.

She has written books of her own with subjects ranging from computers to drug/i and alcohol recovery. Her self-published ebooks cover just as wide a variety of topics.

Anne also coaches writers.  She is particularly good at helping them actually get started and finally finish the book they’ve always dreamed of writing. Her professional site is: www.AnneWayman.com
